Passed away peacefully at Knockrobin Hill Care Home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his loving parents Peter and Jane Driver and daughter Teresa. Sadly missed by his loving wife Christina, sons Peter and John, daughters Margaret and Miranda and Christine, brothers, sisters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Born 1925, in Ringsend, Dublin, died peacefully at home, aged 97 years on Saturday 16th of July 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Cora (née Devlin) and pre-deceased by sons Séan and Billy. Much-loved Dad to Maureen, Brendan, Joan and Damien and adored Papa to his 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by daughters-in-law Christine, Mary and Jill and sons-in-law Michael and Gary, extended family and wide circle of friends.

 

A wonderful family man, John will be reposing at his home 2 St. Manntan’s Road, Wicklow Town ( A67FK80) this Sunday from 12.00 noon to 7.00pm. Removal Monday morning at 9.15am to St. Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town (walking via New Street and Main Street) arriving for 10.00am Funeral Mass. Victor (Vic) Curtis late of Wicklow Town, Kilcoole, Co.Wicklow, Finglas and Stillorgan, Co. Dublin, died suddenly on 18th June 2022. Removal from his home on Friday (June 24) at 9.30am, walking to St. Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town (via South Quay) in a New Orleans inspired procession, arriving for a Funeral Mass at 10.00am followed by burial in Springfield Cemetery, Killarney Road, Bray. Concepta Connolly (née Niland) of Wicklow Town and late of Annaghbeg, Sligo who passed away on Tuesday 14th June 2022 suddenly but peacefully at St Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Sean; she will be sadly missed by her children Cormac, Michael, John, Sinéad, Mary, Ronan and Mark, siblings Dymphna, Theresa and Cáit, sister in law Mary, daughters-in-law Anna, Khek and Serena sons-in-law Barry and Brian, grandchildren Isabelle, Alannah, Kate, Jana, Hugo, Indie, Conn, Jack, Lauren and Sean, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her siblings Peter, Carmel and Myra.

Concepta will repose at Flannery’s Funeral Home, Bachelors Walk, in Wicklow Town, from 5pm until 7pm on Friday. Removal from the family home, walking on Saturday morning at 10.40am to St Patrick’s Church, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by interment in Rathnew Cemetery.

John Charles Peter FOGDEN

With sorrow we announce the death of our beloved husband, father, and grandad, John Fogden after a battle with cancer. His family were with him when he peacefully left this world at 2:25am on 1st June 2022, at Wicklow Hospice. Although heartbroken, his wife Marie, children Karen, Jason, Daniel and Rebecca, and grandchildren Noah, Esme, Hayley, and Adah are at peace knowing that he is pain free and can rest now.

John’s funeral is at 10am on 8th June at St Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town, followed by burial at Killoughter Cemetery. All are welcome to join us to say farewell. Betty, predeceased by her loving husband Joe and sons Ray and Kevin, will be sadly missed by her loving daughter Rosemary and son Patrick, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughter in law Bernie, son in law Franny, brothers Peter and Christy, sisters in law Joan and Marie, extended family and friends.

Carmel Franey (née Russell) of Ballybeg, Rathnew and formerly of Ballinalea, Ashford who passed away on Sunday, 15th May 2022 surround by her loving family and in the care of Wicklow Hospice. Beloved wife of the late Jimmy. She will be remembered with love and affection by her son Colm and his wife Bridget and by her adored grandchildren Oisín and Saoirse, brother in law Wesley, sisters in law Sheila, Joan and Chris, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Carmel is predeceased by her parents Thomas and May Russell and siblings Raphael, Bridget, Nancy, Bill, Eamonn, Joe, Michael, Veronica and Vincent.
