Jack Mooney Blainroe, Co. Wicklow

21st November 2023.

Jack passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the exceptional care of the staff at St. Columcille’s Hospital, Loughlinstown. Beloved husband of Joan, and loving father of John, Alan, Ciara and Fearghal. Sadly missed by his son in law Fergal, daughters in law Sinead, Jane and Vanessa, 11 cherished grandchildren, large extended family, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Jack will be reposing at McCrea’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Wicklow Town (A67E003) on Thursday evening from 5.00pm to 8.00pm. Removal this Friday morning, 24th November, to St. Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town arriving for 11.00am Funeral Mass which can also be viewed by clicking on Jack’s Funeral Mass followed by Cremation Service in McCrea’s Cremation Chapel, Dublin Road, Wicklow Town (A67E003) at 12.30pm for all those who wish to attend. Those unable to attend, the Service can be viewed by clicking on McCrea’s Cremation Chapel (viewing at time of service only).

We extend our deepest sympathy to Jordon and Kayla on the recent death of their baby Oliver. A private service has taken place and burial in Rathnew Cemetery on the 18th November 2023. May eternal light shine upon Baby Oliver.

Josephine (Jo) Clarke née O’Rourke of Weston Close, Wicklow Town who passed away on Monday 13th November 2023 peacefully with her family at St Vincent’s Private Hospital. Predeceased by her parents John (Sean) and Eileen O’Rourke and sister in law Annette. Lovingly remembered by her husband Keith, son Stephen and his wife Fiona, daughter Susan and her partner Ken, son Keith and his wife Shauna, and grandchildren James and Darragh. Sadly missed by her siblings Mary, Art, Kay, Liz and Billy, mother in law Hilda, brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, extended family and friends. May she rest in peace. Jo will repose at Flannery’s Funeral Home, Bachelors Walk in Wicklow Town from 5pm until 7pm on Wednesday. Funeral arriving to the family home on Thursday morning at 9.30am and then proceeding at walking pace via Hopkins Hill to St Patrick’s Church arriving for funeral Mass at 10am followed by interment in Rathnew Cemetery. Elizabeth (Betty) Shea née Murphy Ashford and formerly Trooperstown

Betty passed away in her 88th year unexpectedly but peacefully on Thursday 9th November 2023 at St Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by her beloved husband Pat, son Mick and brother Pat. She will be sadly missed and remembered with love by sons John and Brendan, sister Mollie, daughter in law Joan, grandchildren Jamie, Katie, Danielle and Annalise, great-grandchildren JJ and Darcie Jo, extended family and friends.

Betty will repose at her son John’s home at Glebemount, Wicklow Town (A67FH63) on Tuesday from 5pm until 8pm. Funeral arriving to the Church of the Most Holy Rosary Ashford on Wednesday for 11am funeral Mass followed by interment in Rathnew Cemetery.

Brigid (Bridie) Burke (nèe Quinn), Templelyon, Redcross, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Hollywood, Co. Wicklow. 5th November 2023, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Andrew’s Ward at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by her loving husband Jim, deeply regretted by her beloved children, Mary, John, Seamus, Pat, Margaret, Larry, Michael and Breda, sons-in-law Michael and Dave, daughters-in-law Bernie, Bebe, Breda, Deirdre and Gillian, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, godsons, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Billy passed away peacefully at Portlaoise General Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Billy and May Kelly, Predeceased nephews Keith Henry and Aaron Delahunt. Beloved Brother of Margaret, Liz, Tommy, Jody, Paula, Ricky and Stephen. Will be dearly missed by all the extended family and friends.

 

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Billy was in the loving care of the staff of Chapel View and will be sadly missed , as he was loved and cherished by all the staff, dear friend’s and everyone he met over the years while in their care.

Tim passed away peacefully after a short illness in the loving care of the nurses and staff at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, Dublin. Beloved husband of the late Maureen and loving father of Aoife and Ciara, brother of Joan, Con, Owen and the late Richard and Jerry. Sadly missed by his loving daughters, sister, brothers, son in-law Larry, grandchilden Una and Saibh, brother in-law Raymond, sisters in-law Maureen, Peg, Muriel, Cindy, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.
