James (Jimmy) McShane, Brittas Bay and formerly Drumcondra, June 16th 2025. Peacefully, in his 90th year, with his family by his side in the kind and tender care of the staff in Blackrock Clinic. Beloved husband of Terry and loving father of Michael, Orla and baby Anne (deceased). He will be sadly missed by his wife, son, daughter, daughter-in-law Catherine, son-in-law Eoin, cherished grandchildren Laura, Shane, Neil, Claire and Eve, dear sister Gaye, his wonderful carers Angela and Tina, brothers-in-law Albert, Terry and Val, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of friends. Jimmy is predeceased by his siblings Alan, Mamie, Joan, Noreen and Mar.

A funeral Mass to celebrate Jimmy’s life will take place in the Star of the Sea Church, Brittas Bay, on Saturday 21st June at 11am. A private family cremation will take place at a later date.

Esther Kinsella (née Whelan), Ballinteskin, Wicklow Town, Co. Wicklow. 4th May 2025, peacefully at St. Columcille’s Hospital, Loughlinstown, in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Joe. Sweeney, Elizabeth (Eilis), (née Murphy) (Clontarf, and formerly of Barndarrig), 11th March 2025, peacefully in the care of staff at Care Choice Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her loving husband William. Elizabeth will be very sadly missed by her sons Francis, Joseph, John and Eamonn, daughters-in-law Cyrilene, Marie and Jean, grandchildren Alicia, Owen, Ronan, Shauna, Lorin and Lianna, great grandchildren Oscar and Leo, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

It is with broken hearts the Stone family announce the tragic passing of their beautiful son and brother, Brendan, in his 19th year on Friday 21st February 2025. Brendan, adored son of Peter and Patsy, loving brother to Aoibhin, Malachy, Roisin, Moira, Fainche and Diarmuid. Predeceased by his grandparents, Malachy Stone and Rosanna and Patrick Dunne. Brendan will be forever missed by his heartbroken parents, brothers, sisters, grandmother Pauline, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, neighbours, sporting colleagues and wide circle of friends.

Lizzie Lott née Nolan of Three Mile Water and formerly Whiterock, Tinahely who passed away in her 94th year on Wednesday 2nd October 2024 surrounded by her family and in the excellent care of Knockrobin Hill Care Home. Loving wife of the late Bill and much loved and loving mother of Theresa and Helen. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Conor, Neil, Gemma and Tara, great granddaughters Lucy and Sadie, sister Breda, sons in law Myles and Dermot and by Katie, Meghan, Luke and Gary, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
