Passed away peacefully in the loving care of the Staff at Beechwood Nursing Home, Leighlinbridge, Co. Carlow.

Monica will be sadly missed by her daughter Sharon Shortall and son Alan McSweeney (Castlecomer), sisters Beth and Ella, grandchildren Nicola, Emma, Muireann and Eoghan, great grandchildren, Caoimhe, Oisin, Caoilainn and Aishling, son-in-law Maurice, daughter-in-law Marie, brothers-in-law Peter Mellor and James Conroy, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Reposing at Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlecomer (R95 AK38) on Friday 10th January from 5pm, concluding with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 7pm.

Removal from Coady’s Funeral Home on Saturday morning at 11am to St. Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town (A67 AE37) for Requiem Mass at 2pm. Monica will be laid to rest thereafter in Rathnew Cemetery.

John passed away on Monday 6th January, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin – Loving husband of Rita and much loved father of Myrtle, Helen, Tommy, Noirin, Rita, Ian, Aileen and John. Sadly missed by his son in laws, daughter in law, 19 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, his sister Patricia, his nieces and nephews and his extended family and friends.Predeceased by his parents Tommy and Barbara and his sister June.

John will be reposing at McCrea’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Wicklow Town (A67E003) from 4.00pm until 7.00pm this Thursday evening.

Donegal, who passed away on Saturday 4th January, 2025, peacefully with family by her side, at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Dearly loved wife of Kieran and much loved mother of James, Michael, Hannah, Cian and Jack. Sadly missed by her siblings Hugh, Eilish, Jim, Joseph, Pat, Mickey, Eamon and Alan, and by her adoring grandchildren, daughters in law, extended family and friends.

Nora will repose at the William Doyle Funeral Home, Kilcoole on Friday from 6pm until 8pm. Funeral arriving at Ashford GAA grounds on Saturday morning at 11.40am and then proceeding at walking pace to the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Ashford arriving for 12 noon Funeral Mass followed by Private Cremation.

Lil Esmonde née Lawless of St Bridget’s Terrace, Rathnew and formerly Ballinahinch, Ashford who passed away in her 96th year peacefully with family in the comfort of her home. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jack, daughters Margaret, Rose and Lila and grandchildren Lorraine and Noel and great grandchild Cathal. Lovingly remembered by her daughters Mary, Ann and Ita and by her sons in law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

She shall be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family and friends.
