Molly Hollingsworth née Nolan of St Patrick’s Terrace, Rathnew who passed away peacefully at St Columcille’s Hospital Loughlinstown with family by her side on Saturday 6th June 2020 in her 96th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jack, children Pat and Ann and grandson Tommy. Much loved and loving mother of Marie, Patsy, John, Jim and Trina. She shall be sadly missed by her loving family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, sister Betty, brother Paddy, extended family and friends.

Molly’s funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday 9th June at 12 noon in St Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town.

Following the funeral Mass the cortège will proceed to St Patrick’s Terrace and then at walking pace in line with social distancing to Rathnew Cemetery.

O’Beirne, Anne (Sr Vivienne) Dominican Convent Wicklow, formerly of Sion Hill, Muckross Park, and 204 Griffith Avenue, in the loving care of her Dominican Sisters and the staff of Santa Sabina House, Cabra on June 1st 2020. Much loved and very sadly missed by her sisters Theresa Meagher and Eithne Shortall, and many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, great grand nieces and great grand nephews and her Dominican Sisters and past students of St Catherine’s Sion Hill. Predeceased by her sisters Sheila MacMahon and Bea Radford.

 

Owing to Government restrictions at present, a private funeral Mass will take place at St Patrick’s Church, Wicklow on Thursday, 4th June, at 3.00 pm followed by burial in the Convent cemetery. We look forward to meeting you all at a celebration of Sr. Vivienne’s life at a later date.

 

The death has occurred of Cora Crennan (nee O’Brien) Kilmantin Hill Wicklow Town and formally of Dunganstown County Wicklow. 16th May 2020, Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at home. Cherished & beloved mother to Majella, John, Corrine & Claire. Sadly missed by her husband Nicolas Crennan and her sisters Agnes,Alish, Doris brother Michael predeceased by her sister Mary and brothers Peter & Maurice & treasured daughter-in-law Gemma. Lovingly remembered by her adoring grandchildren, sons in law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces nephews & large circle of friends.

Her light has dimmed but never forgotten & we are truly blessed to have loved her.

MURPHY, Martin Joseph (Seacliff, Wicklow, formerly of Woodlands Road, Cabinteely, Co Dublin and Ballymitty, Co Wexford, ex Commissioners of Irish Lights). Following a long illness, fought with courage and grace. Martin passed away peacefully at home in the loving arms of his darling wife Ann, surrounded by his adoring children, Barbara, Jean, Suzann, Alan, Brian, baby Martin (deceased) and Anna Marie, with beautiful care from the Wicklow Palliative Care Team.

Much loved Papa to his sixteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Very sadly missed by his sons-in-law Matt and Brian, daughters-in-law Linda and Nicki, sister Maureen, brothers Paddy and Willie (also brother of the late Tommy), extended family and his large circle of friends including those at Wicklow Golf Club and St Patrick’s Bowls Club.

The death has occurred of Brigidh Supple (née O’Kelly) – Fitzwilliam Road, Wicklow Town and formerly Annamoe, Co. Wicklow, peacefully at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin on Monday 27th April 2020 in her 100th year. Much loved Aunt , Great Aunt, Sister-in-law and friend. Sadly missed by her nephews Kevin, Emer, Tony, John, Paul, Colm, Frank and Peter and her nieces Patricia and Roseanne, her sister-in-law Jean, her nephews and nieces-in-law,her adored grandnieces and grandnephews. Predeceased by her loving husband David, brother Hugh, sisters Anne ( Sr Kevin ), Kathleen ( Sr Frances ) and Angela. She will be regrettably missed by her former work colleagues, extended family and large circle of friends.

Aileen Cussen née Gardiner of Wicklow Town and late of Nutley Road, Donnybrook, Dublin passed away peacefully on Friday 3rd April 2020 at St Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by her siblings Gerald, Sean and Angela, dearly loved wife of Eddie for 53 years, loving and much loved mother of Anna Lee, Ned, Damian, Daniel and close family member Jimmy and adored granny of Cathy, Sarah, Ciarán, Fionn, Oskar, Klara, Boris, Lily and Hazel. Aileen will be sadly missed by her sisters Maureen Nugent (Dublin) and Lelia Fitzgerald (Limerick), her brothers in law and sisters in law, nieces and nephews, daughters in law Sophia, Katerina and Joeline, extended family and friends.

Damien Keogh of Lower Strand Street, Wicklow Town and late of Glenealy who passed away peacefully aged 48 surrounded by his loving family at St James’ Hospital on Saturday 28th March 2020. Predeceased by his father Gerry and brother Gerald. He will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his daughter Chloe, mother Phyllis, partner Catherine, brothers Pascal, David and Declan, sister’s Stephanie and Sarann, nephews, nieces and by Chloe’s mother Hazel along with Nathan, Jayden, sisters-in-law Marie and Trisha, extended family and friends.
