Andrew (Andy) Dunne, Ballymerrigan, Rathnew, Co. Wicklow. Passed away peacefully on 23rd September 2025, surrounded by his family, in the care of the staff of Our Lady’s Ward and The Palliative Care Team at St. Vincent’s University Hospital.

Sadly missed and forever loved by his wife Chrissie, his children Tony, Andrew, Mary and Anne, his adored grandchildren Yanna, Peter, Sorcha and Laragh, his sister Eileen, daughter-in-law Cathy, sons-in-law Dermot and Mark, his wider family and many great friends especially those of the farming and equine communities. Predeceased by his brother’s Jack, Terry, Ted and Syl, and his sister’s May and Theresa.

Rest in peace

Reposing at Brennan Woulahan Funeral Home, Avoca, Road, Rathdrum (A67 C562) on Monday 29th September, from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11am in St. Joseph’s Church, Glenealy (A67 F798), followed by burial in Glenealy Cemetery. Sarah D’Arcy of Upper New Street, Wicklow Town and formerly Kilpoole Hill who passed away in her 90th year on Monday 15th September 2025 peacefully at St Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by her parents Tom and Lucy. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her family and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Sarah will repose at Flannery’s Funeral Home, Bachelors Walk, Wicklow Town from 5pm until 7pm on Thursday. Funeral arriving to St Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town on Friday morning for funeral Mass at 10am after which Sarah will be laid to rest in Rathnew Cemetery.

Sheila O’Neill, (nee Doyle), Ardanairy, Brittas Bay, and formerly of Moneyteigue, Aughrim, peacefully at Blainroe Lodge Nursing Home, 12th September 2025. Predeceased by her husband Jimmy, brothers Gerry, T.J. and Sean, sisters Tat and Rita.

Sadly missed by her sisters Betty and Doreen, brothers Joe and Noel, brother in law , sisters in law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Sheila will be reposing in Byrne’s Funeral Home, Main Street, Aughrim this Monday evening from 6-8 concluding with prayers.

Funeral mass will take place this Tuesday morning at 11am in The Star of the Sea Church Brittas Bay, Followed by burial afterwards in Barndarrig Cemetery.

Tom (Chopper) Vickers of Castle Avenue, Wicklow Town, who passed away on Wednesday 27th August 2025 peacefully surrounded by his loving family at St Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Ger and Maggie, brother Joe and mother in law Ann. Remembered with love by his wife Avril, daughter Laura and her partner Eoin, sons Mark and David and their partners Melissa and Judy, and by his adored grandchildren Kaia and Mia, siblings Geraldine, Robert and Catriona, father in law Aidan, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, his faithful companion Rooney and many friends.

May he rest in peace.

Tom will repose at the family home from 2pm until 7pm on Friday. Removal on Saturday morning at 10.30am walking via Castle Street, Market Square and Main Street to St Patrick’s Church arriving for funeral Mass at 11am after which Tom will be laid to rest in Rathnew Cemetery.
