Richard Davis of Wicklow Town and formerly Avoca, Co. Wicklow. Passed away peacefully at home on 3rd April 2025, in the presence of his daughter Maura and son Richard. Beloved husband of the late Yvette. Sadly missed by his children, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, his adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, relatives, friends and neighbours. Richard’s family would like to thank the Community Care Team for their support at this sad time.

Richard will repose at Brennan Woulahan Funeral Home, Avoca Road, Rathdrum (A67 C562) on Sunday 6th April from 2pm to 4pm. Esther Knowles – Hunter Drumkay, Rathnew, Co. Wicklow

Suddenly but peacefully at home. Predeceased by her mother Rhonda Knowles and father Harry Hunter; Loving mother of Chloe, Layla. Sadly missed by her children, grandchild Amelia, her partner Aurther, sisters Laura, Jade, Tara and Carol, brothers James and Harry, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Removal from her family home, Drumkay, Rathnew, this Saturday morning 5th April at 10.15 am walking to St. Joseph’s, Church, Rathnew arriving for 11.00am Funeral Mass, followed by interment in Rathnew Cemetery.

Bridget Gormley née O’Reilly of Wicklow Heights, Wicklow Town and formerly Rory O’Connor Place Arklow who passed away peacefully but unexpectedly at St Vincent’s University Hospital on Thursday 27th March 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Shay for 63 years and much loved mother of Mary, Bridgeen, James, Shane, Warren and Natalie. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters Anna and Kathleen and by her extended family and friends. Predeceased by her loving parents Bridget and Michael John O’Reilly and siblings Mona, Mickey, Peter, Tom and Sean.

Removal from the family home on Thursday morning at 9.30am walking via Convent Hill and Hopkins Hill to St Patrick’s Church arriving for funeral Mass at 10am after which Bridget will be laid to rest in Rathnew Cemetery.

Mark Conlon (Gismo) of Glenview Road, Wicklow Town who passed away unexpectedly on Thursday 20th March 2025. Predeceased by his dad Eamonn Conlon and niece baby Ericia. He will be sadly missed by his loving children Aimee and Clodagh, mother Mary, siblings Christopher, Tina, Jessica, Thomas, Eric, and Molly, Mary’s partner John, brother in law Vinnie, sister in law Kelly, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Teddy (Thomas) Dunne of Mount Carmel, Wicklow Town who passed away on Thursday 13th March 2025 peacefully in the excellent care of the staff of the Wicklow Hospice and surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Sarina. Lovingly remembered by his sons Edward, Thomas and Eric, sister Kathleen, grandchildren Aaron, Seán, Sarina, Elliott, Ollie, Ria, Lilly, Callum, Tommy and Tia, along with his adored nephews and nieces, Edwards partner Sarah, Eric’s partner Mary, extended family and many friends.

Catherine Carey (née Tynan) Friarsfield, Wicklow Town, Wicklow.

13th March 2025.

Catherine passed away peacefully in the care of the staff at Wicklow Community Care Unit, surrounded by her loving family. Pre-deceased by her husband Mick, and her brother Valentine. Catherine will be sadly missed by her children Dorothy, Pauline, Michael, Debbie and Des, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers Tim Tynan (Maynooth) and Fr. Des Tynan (Boston), nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Thomas (Tommy, Bam) Corcoran Carrig Court, Rathnew, Co. Wicklow.

Tommy, passed away suddenly but peacefully, on the 28th of February, 2025, at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Tommy (Bam), will be remembered as a kind, loving man who always had a kind word and comforting smile for everybody who was lucky enough to cross his path. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him, especially his brother Michael, sisters Patsey, Esther, Moll and Ellen. His brothers and sister-in-law, his nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours.Tommy is now in the loving arms of his predeceased parents Michael and Mary. His brother Owen, sister Brigid, nephew Patrick and his nieces Bernice and Ann.
