John Cullen of Blainroe who passed away on Saturday 4th April, 2026, peacefully at St Colman’s Hospital, Rathdrum, with family by his side.

Predeceased by his loving parents Paddy and Ann and siblings Michael, Anne Marie, Joseph and Catherine. Much loved brother of Patricia, Ellen, Sarah, Myles, Mary, Elizabeth, Theresa, James, Pauline, Philip, David and Clare. Sadly missed by his loving family, Aunt Ena, brothers in law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

John will repose at Flannery’s Funeral Home, Bachelors Walk, in Wicklow Town from 6pm until 7pm on Wednesday.

Funeral arriving to St. Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town on Thursday morning for 10am Funeral Mass followed by interment in Three Mile Water Cemetery.

Douglas (Dougie) Bain of Wicklow Town and formerly Dublin who passed away peacefully on Tuesday 31st March 2026 in the wonderful care of Wicklow Hospice surrounded by his two sons and brother.

Beloved husband of Ann (née Murphy), loving father of Christopher and Mark, and grandfather of Callum. Dougie will be sadly missed by his family, siblings Alan and Aisling, daughters in law Laura and Áine, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Douglas and Anne and brother David.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Dougie will repose at Flannery’s Funeral Home, Bachelors Walk in Wicklow Town on Friday from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral service in St Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town on Saturday at 2pm after which Dougie will be laid to rest in Rathnew Cemetery.

Donations to Wicklow Hospice would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.

Baby Max Joey Kodes died on the  27th March 2026. Deeply regretted by his heartbroken parents and sister and relatives. Phil Burke née Kirrane of St Manntan’s Court, Wicklow Town and formerly Blainroe and Irish Town, Mayo who passed away 26th March 2026 unexpectedly but peacefully in the tender care of the ICU staff at Beaumont Hospital. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jack. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her children Karen, John, Gráinne and Ashling and their partners Sam, Anne Marie, Hugh and Gerry and by her grandchildren Josh, Nathan, Dahlia and Rose, sisters, brothers, sisters in law and brothers in law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of friends and neighbours.

Removal from her home on Monday morning at 9.30am walking via St Manntan’s Road and Hopkins Hill to St Patrick’s Church to arrive for 10am funeral Mass after which Phil will be laid to rest in Three Mile Water Cemetery.

Frankie Fitzpatrick née Hunt, late of Dunbur Park, Wicklow and Brooklodge, Co. Cork who passed away March 22nd, 2026, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. ​Predeceased by her beloved husband Jimmy, mother Bridget and sister Kathleen Fennell.
