Damien passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Wicklow Hospice, surrounded by his loving family & friends. Husband to Antoinette, loving Dad to Mia & Leah. Remembered by his brother Gavin, Sister Sylvia & all his nieces and nephews, Extended family and a wide circle of friends. Predeceased by both his parents Noel & Catherine.

Rest In Peace.

Damien will be reposing at McCrea’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Wicklow Town (A67E003) this Tuesday evening from 5.00pm to 8.00pm. Removal Wednesday morning to St. Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town arriving for 10.00am Funeral Mass, which can also be viewed by clicking on Damien’s Funeral Mass followed by interment in Shanganagh Cemetery at 12.15pm approx.

Madge (Margaret) Bolger (née Ryan) of Dunbur Upper, Wicklow and formerly Glenealy who passed away on Monday 9th June 2025 peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Kilcoole Lodge Nursing Home. Predeceased by her beloved daughter Deirdre and sister Teresa.

Sadly missed by her loving husband Jim, daughter Tina, sons James and Stephen and by her 7 grandchildren, Alanna, Jessica, Abbie, Kelly, Saoirse, Ciaran and Siobhan, great grandson Noah, sister Kay, son-in-law Damien, daughters-in-law Laurie and Louise, extended family and friends.

Madge will repose at Flannery’s Funeral Home, Bachelors Walk, Wicklow Town from 5pm until 7pm on Wednesday. Funeral arriving to the Market Square on Thursday morning at 9.30am and then proceeding walking pace via Main Street to St Patrick’s Church, arriving for 10am funeral Mass after which Madge will be laid to rest with Deirdre in Rathnew Cemetery.

Christine Reid (née Mitchell) Fitzwilliam Rd, Wicklow Town

Christine passed away peacefully at Wicklow Hospice surrounded by her loving family on May 31st 2025 after a short illness.

Missed dearly by her loving husband Patrick, sons Alan and Niall, partners Laura and Holly, her adored grandchildren Shay, Ada and Ruairi, and extended family, relatives and friends.

May she now rest in peace.

Mary Patricia (Pat) Larkin, Wicklow Town, Co. Wicklow formerly of Magherafelt, Co. Derry and Drogheda, Co. Louth.

23rd August 1930 – 29th May 2025.

Peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by her family, cared for by the wonderful staff at St. Michael’s Hospital, Dun Laoghaire. Daughter of Mamie Agnew and Thomas Larkin of Magherafelt; beloved sister of Sheena La Brie, and pre-deceased by her brothers Greg and Maurice and her sister Brenda Erskine. Devoted aunt of Sheena, Conor, Angela, Cormac, Colleen, Tara, Gráinne, Sean, and Heather. Sorely missed by her nephews, nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces, former colleagues at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, her devoted carers and her many friends.

Funeral Mass this Wednesday morning 4th June at 10.00am in St. Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town , which can also be viewed by clicking on Patricia’s Funeral Mass followed by Cremation Service in McCrea’s Cremation Chapel, Dublin Road, Wicklow Town at 11.30am for all those who wish to attend. Paul Flynn (Purple) of Station House, The Murrough, Wicklow Town and formerly of St. Laurence’s Road, Wicklow Town, who passed away on Monday 26th of May 2025 peacefully surrounded by his family in the gentle care of the wonderful staff of the ICU department in St Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by his parents John and Cathy. Sadly missed by his brothers John, Thomas and Noel, sisters Sharon and Katrina, and by all his nephews, nieces, extended family and his wide circle of friends.

Peacefully in his sleep after a long illness, at home. Predeceased by his wife Aileen (nee Sillery), his parents James & Maureen & sister Maria. Beloved dad of Stephen, Helena & Joanne & treasured grandad of Jack, Rachael, Maya, Abbie, Lily, Sophie, Ruby & Myla, he will be sadly missed by his son, daughters, sons in law Stephen & Ian, grandchildren, brothers Shay, Tom & Andy and sisters Catherine, Muriel & Christine, extended family & friends.
