Catherine (Kay) O’Flaherty née Doyle of St Manntan’s Park, Wicklow Town and formerly the Old Village, Rathnew who passed away with family by her side on Wednesday 10th June 2026 peacefully at St Vincent’s University Hospital. Dearly loved wife of Joseph (Joe) for 62 years and loving mother of Paul, Elaina, Alan and Glenn. Lovingly remembered by her family, grandchildren Ross, Darren, Karina, Shauna, Sam, Asher and Joshua along with her siblings Michael, Anne, Rita, Eleanor and Phyllis, daughters in law Maria and Lisa, son in law Pat, extended family and friends.

Kay is predeceased by her parents Ellen and Desmond and siblings Des, Ray and Billy.

There is no night without a dawning, no winter without a spring
And beyond the dark horizon Our hearts will once more sing ….
For those who leave us for a while have only gone away
Out of a restless, care worn world into a brighter day

Reposing at Flannery’s Funeral Home, Bachelor’s Walk, Wicklow Town from 5pm until 7pm on Friday. Funeral arriving to the family home on Saturday morning at 9.30am and then proceeding at walking pace via St Patrick’s Road to arrive at St Patrick’s Church for 10am funeral Mass after which Kay will be laid to rest in Rathnew Cemetery.

(peacefully) following a prolonged illness, in the loving care of the wonderful staff of the Sugarloaf Care Home. Joan (pre-deceased by her loving husband Paddy), deeply missed by her loving sons John and Paul; daughters-in-law Hillary and Julie; her much loved grandchildren Laura, Ben, Dan, Harry and Lily; great-grandchildren Izzy, Noah and Siena; Michael and Deirdre; nephew and nieces, together with her extended family and friends.

Julia Kenny (née Reilly) Station Road, Shillelagh, County Wicklow, formerly of Wicklow Town and Sillogue, Kilberry, Navan, Co Meath,

Peacefully after a short illness in the care of St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, Dublin surrounded by her loving family.

Julia is predeceased by her husband Brendan, her sisters Phyllis, Brid, Carmel, Aine and brother Matty. Julia will be deeply missed by her loving partner Tom, her daughters Jean and Brenda, her sons John and Joe, sons-in-law Brian and Keith, daughters-in-law Teresa and Jennifer, her eleven cherished grandchildren Dean, Katie, Hannah, Leah, Matt, Jim, Ronan, Oliver, Aaron, Lily and Julia, her sisters Mona, Betty and Georgie, brother-in-law Ambie , sisters-in-law Dymphna and Patsy, and the Lawler family in Shillelagh. Julia will also be missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In his 90th year. Holding Denise’s hand, Jim went gently and peacefully through the veil that separates our world from the next. Awaiting him are his parents, Frederick and Bridget, his siblings, Nan, Martha, Kathleen, John and Kit.

Married to Lynda for over 60 years, Jim will be greatly missed by Lynda, Denise (O’Reilly), Robert, Ross, Martin, Jane and Susanne. His treasured grandchildren Amber, Cillian, Cian and Callum O’Reilly, Aiden and Ethan Quinn. His beloved brother Andy, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and many great friends.

Richard passed away surrounded by his loving family at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin on the 24th of May 2026. Beloved husband of the late Ann, loving father of Keith and Elaine and adored Dada of Cormac, Ryan, Tadhg, Lugh, Cathal and Conn. Predeceased by his brothers Michael, Tom and sister Maureen. Lily (Elizabeth) O’Reilly née Ronan of Wicklow Town who passed away in her 88th year on Monday 27th April 2026 at the Knockrobin Hill Care Home. Dearly loved wife of the late Michael (Mick) O’Reilly for 61 years and much loved and loving mother of Michael, Lisa, Richard and the late Paul. Remembered with love and affection by her family, grandchildren LisaMarie, Colin, Megan, Michael and Adam and great-grandchildren Charlie, Jay, Killian and Alfie and by her sisters Chrissie and Kay, son-in-law Peter, extended family and friends.

Lily is predeceased by her siblings Paddy, Jimmy, Mick, Denis and Nanny.
