Who passed away peacefully in St. Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by her loving family. Dearly loved wife of Seamus for 49 years and beloved mother of Rebecca, Laura and Sarah and adored grandmother of Emily, Hannah, Daniel and Ruairí. Lovingly remembered by her family; siblings John and Patricia, sons in law Chris and Alan, extended family, relatives and friends.

Mary will be reposing at McCrea’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Wicklow Town (A67E003) this Sunday evening 1st November from 4.00pm to 6.00pm.

Removal this Monday morning to St. Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town arriving for 10.00am Funeral Mass, which can be viewed online by clicking on Mary’s Funeral Mass.

Followed by Cremation Service in ​​​​​McCrea’s Cremation Chapel, Dublin Road Wicklow Town (A67E003) at 11.30am for all those who wish to attend.

Passed away peacefully on 20th of October 2026 in the loving care of her family at St Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by her mother Molly and father Seamus and her sister Marie. Cherished wife and best friend of Jim. Loving mother of Tracey, Jamie, Mark, Sabrina and Shauna. Deeply missed by her sons in law Aaron and Larry and Shauna’s partner John,  Dillon’s partner Amy, her grandchildren Dillon, Caine , Keelan, Kyle, Antoan, Nayanna and Mia, great grandchildren Chloe, Lucy-Jane and Dj, brothers, sisters, extended family and friends.

Miriam (Mini) O’Brien née Dickenson of Wellfield Close and formerly Colley Row, Wicklow Town who passed away on Saturday 10th October 2026 unexpectedly but peacefully at her home. Dearly loved wife and best friend of the late Anthony (Tony). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters Sharon and Jenny, sisters, brothers, extended family and many friends.

Michael Butler of Wicklow Town and formerly Woodfield, Birr Co Offaly who passed away in his 99th year on Saturday 10th October 2026 peacefully at the Wicklow Hospice with family by his side. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Rose (née Phillips) for 61 years and loving father of Caitríona. Sadly missed by his family, grandchildren Clíona and Ryan, son in law Philippe, sister-in-law Margaret, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by his parents John and Mary Catherine and siblings Chris, Patrick, John and Joe and brother-in-law Joe Kelly.

Who was in the care of Knockrobin Hill Care Home, Port Road, Wicklow, late of Blainroe, Wicklow and Johnny’s Restaurant Malahide. Loving mother of Michele and Jackie, loving grandmother to her granddaughter Natacha, daughter in law Majella and son in law Joe. Deeply regretted by her nephews and nieces, Colm and Ella Corbally, Joe and Patsy Martin and Miriam Martin. Pre-deceased by her loving husband Johnny.

Reposing in McCrea’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Wicklow Town (A67 E003) Wicklow this Monday 12th October 2026 from 5.00 p.m.

Eileen will arrive at 9.50 a.m. on Tuesday 13th October 2026 to St. Patrick’s Church, St. Patrick’s Road, Ballynerrin Lower, Wicklow Town for Funeral Mass at 10.00 a.m. The funeral mass will be broadcast live online by clicking on Eileen’s Funeral Mass.

Essie Fogarty née Doyle of Rathdrum and formerly Rathnew who passed away on Tuesday 15th September 2026 peacefully with family by her side at St Vincent’s University Hospital.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Seamus, son Shane, parents Ned and Nan Doyle and by her siblings Mikey, Ann and Robert.

Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children Nicola and Eamonn; adored granddaughter Áine, sisters Mary, Deirdre, Beth, Phil, Rita, Jackie, Yvonne and Earana, brothers Eamonn and Seán, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews along with the extended Doyle and Fogarty families and her many close friends.

Anne Kelly of Glenview Road, Wicklow Town who passed away peacefully with family by her side at Knockrobin Hill Care Home on Monday 31st August 2026. Predeceased by her parents Moses and Ethel and siblings James (Bimbo), Joey, Sally, Essie and Mosey. She will be sadly missed by Ann Marie, her brother Billy, sisters Marguerite and Jean, extended family and friends.

SHIELDS, Thomas Joseph – August 9th, 2026, (from Cootehill, Co. Cavan, then New York, Dublin and later Wicklow) husband to the late Mary Dolores Shields (née Mernagh) passed peacefully surrounded by his children Kevin, Ann Marie, Jimi, Siobhán & Eileen, grandchildren Tara, Seán, Sam, Solar, Alannah, Sofia, Lenna & Rhea and sadly missed by his loving family, brothers Seán, Tony, sister Betty and late brother Brendan and late sister Peg, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and his many dear, loyal friends.

Tom will be deeply missed by his entire family and his global network of friends, (mention any town across the world, Tom knew someone there). His magnanimous energy and generous spirit, the central soul of the party, elevated everyone he met with his magic. He championed his family, children and grandchildren whose broken hearts are only consoled knowing he is reunited with Dolores, the love of his life. She now guiding him, on a dance into the heavens. His brilliant light & love has been passed on to many.
