NOVENA TO THE HOLY SPIRIT BEGINS THIS SUNDAY
You are warmly invited to join once again with every parish in the diocese in the annual Novena to the Holy Spirit – our dedicated period of prayer, reflection and planning for the renewal of the Church in the Archdiocese of Dublin. The Novena will take place in the nine days from 1st – 9th June beginning on the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord, through Pentecost and continuing to the Feast of St Columba on Monday 9th June. As well as being a time of prayer, you are encouraged to use this Novena time to pray for the pastoral year ahead guided by the Spirit.
A number of Novena Prayer Cards have arrived in the parishes. The card is also below along with a booklet of prayer for each day of the Novena. The resources are also accessible on the diocesan website at https://dublindiocese.ie/novena-to-the-holy-spirit-2025/.
Let us join together across the Archdiocese, in praying and planning during this dedicated period 1st – 9th June. May this time be blessed and build hope for a new future united as one People of God.
