The unexpected death has occurred of Sean McSherry, Raheenmore, Wicklow Town, and formerly of Cavan town, at St. James Hospital, Dublin on 17th November 2021.

He will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Eileen (née Morkan), treasured children Ciara, John and Lisa, son-in-law Martin, his beloved grandchildren Lara and Eva, his sister Colette, brothers Ray and Eugene, sister-in-law Dawn, all his extended family and large circle of great fiends, especially those he met through golf and in Eircom.

Sean’s Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday 25th November at 1.00 pm in St. Patrick’s Church Wicklow Town which can be viewed on www.wicklowparish.ie followed by Cremation Service in McCrea’s Cremation Chapel , Dublin Road, Wicklow Town (A67E003) at 2.15 pm which can be viewed on McCrea’s Cremation Chapel (viewing at time of service only).

The death has occurred of Peter B. Moloney (Church Hill, Wicklow Town) 16th November 2021, peacefully in his 93rd year in the presence of his loving daughters Audrey and Paula, in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin. Loving husband of the late Maeve and father of the late Vivienne, sadly missed by his loving daughters Audrey (O’ Leary) and Paula (Conway), sister Lauri Moroney, sons-in-law Mike and Roy, grandchildren Amy, Robert, Katie, Conor, Helen and Aidan, great-grandchildren, all his family in France, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Ailish Fitzmaurice, Wicklow Town, and late of Longford, suddenly, tragic drowning, on Friday 5th November 2021, daughter of the late Sean and Lil and beloved sister of Angela, John, Shay and Gerry. Sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Kathrina and Miriam and her nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Ailish will be reposing at McCrea’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Wicklow Town (A67E003) Friday evening from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm. Removal Saturday morning at 10.30 am to St. Patrick’s Church Wicklow Town arriving for 11.00 am Funeral Mass which can be live viewed on www.wicklowparish.ie followed by Cremation Service in McCrea’s Cremation Chapel, Dublin Road,Wicklow at 12.00 noon which can be live viewed on McCrea’s Cremation Chapel (viewing at time of service only).

John (Johnny) McDonald (Woodside, Rathnew, Co. Wicklow) peacefully on 7th November 2021. Beloved husband of Marie (Evesson) McDonald. Devoted and loving father of Natasha, Nicola and John and father in law of Paul, Tommy and Clare. Proud Grandfather of Fíonn and Aibhínn Doyle, Niamh and Roisin Kearney, Ava and Luke McDonald. Johnny leaves behind many relatives and friends and will be greatly missed by all.

Eithne, beloved wife of the late Frank and sister of the late John, loving mother of Yvonne, sadly missed by her loving sister Maureen, brother Aidan, sisters-in-law Sue, Kathleen and Margaret, grandchildren Cara and Dylan, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

James (Jamesie) Doyle of Castlefield, Wicklow Town who passed away Monday, 1st November 2021, at his home. Predeceased by his parents Samuel and Emily Doyle and siblings Sarina, Paul, and Nicholas. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Margaret and Anne and by his brothers John, Michael, and Tommy, brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Jamesie will repose at Flannery’s Funeral Home, Bachelors Walk in Wicklow Town from 6pm until 8pm on Friday. Funeral arriving to his home in Castlefield on Saturday morning at 10.20am and then proceeding at walking pace to St Patrick’s Church arriving for funeral Mass at 11am followed by interment in Rathnew Cemetery.

Valerie (Val) Carroll (née Cleary) of Dunbur Glen, Wicklow Town, who passed away on Thursday 7th October 2021 at the Beacon Hospital. Daughter of Madge and the late Jimmy Cleary. Loving wife and best friend of Pat and much loved and loving mother of Shane and Sarah. She shall be sadly missed by her loving family, mother, sisters Ruth and Marion, Shane’s partner Niamh, brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, grandniece, father and mother-in-law, extended family and friends.

Thomas Buck (Seaview Heights, Rathnew, Co. Wicklow and Liverpool, England). 6th October 2021 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Pat Henry née Genin of Hillside House, Hillside Road, Wicklow Town who passed away on 21st September 2021. Cherished wife and best friend of the late George for 61 years. She will be remembered with undying love by her sons Patrick and Marcel, daughter Lylie and their spouses Jane, Lorraine and Robert, grandchildren Kate, Luke, Georgie and Orla, and by her brother-in-law Andy, his wife Colette, Lillian, and Mary along with her husband Michael, and by her extended family and friends.
