Rita Deignan (née Meehan) Blainroe, Co. Wicklow, and formerly of Mount Merrion, Co. Dublin

Passed away peacefully on 27th May 2025 surrounded by her loving family, after a short illness. Rita is predeceased by her son Fergus, brothers Fergus, Jack and sister Dolores. Beloved wife of Paul, much loved mother of daughters Paula, Clare, Michelle, sons Mark and Stephen, adored grandchildren Dylan, Nathan, Daniel, Laoise, Aoibhí, Ava, Ben, Ella, sons in law Frank, Damien, Joe, soon to be daughter in law Martina and extended family and wide circle of friends.

May her gentle soul fly on eagles wings.

Rita will be reposing at McCrea’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Wicklow Town (A67 E003) this Thursday evening 29th May from 5.00pm – 8.00pm. Funeral mass at 10.00am Friday morning 30th May in St Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town (A67 AE37) which can also be viewed by clicking on Rita’s Funeral Mass followed by burial (family only) in Deansgrange cemetery, Dublin.

Celebration of Rita’s life to follow in Blainroe Golf Club A67 YY01 at 4.00pm – all very welcome.

Rita brought colour and joy to the lives of many. In that spirit, the family would love if attendees wore something bright or colourful to celebrate her memory.

Máire Murphy née Ward of Rahaval House, Redcross who passed away peacefully in her 99th year on Friday 25th April 2025 in the company of her family at St Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by her beloved husband Patrick, parents William and Catherine and siblings Malachy, John, Carmel, Theresa and Eilish. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son Padraig (O’Murachú), daughter Fidelma (Downes), sisters Kay Doyle and Rosaleen Connolly and by her adored grandchildren Clíodhna, Aisling, Darragh, Rían, Aoife and Róisín, daughter in law Deirdre, son in law Paul, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Predeceased by her loving husband William. Elizabeth will be very sadly missed by her sons Francis, Joseph, John and Eamonn, daughters-in-law Cyrilene, Marie and Jean, grandchildren Alicia, Owen, Ronan, Shauna, Lorin and Lianna, great grandchildren Oscar and Leo, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

It is with broken hearts the Stone family announce the tragic passing of their beautiful son and brother, Brendan, in his 19th year on Friday 21st February 2025. Brendan, adored son of Peter and Patsy, loving brother to Aoibhin, Malachy, Roisin, Moira, Fainche and Diarmuid. Predeceased by his grandparents, Malachy Stone and Rosanna and Patrick Dunne. Brendan will be forever missed by his heartbroken parents, brothers, sisters, grandmother Pauline, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, neighbours, sporting colleagues and wide circle of friends.

Christopher (Christy) Doyle of Ashford and formerly Kilmacanogue, Kilcoole and Barndarrig who passed away on Saturday 30th November 2024 peacefully but unexpectedly at his home. Sadly missed by his loving wife Concepta, son Christopher, daughter Caroline and her partner Tom, granddaughters Sophie and Chantelle, sister Teresa and by his nieces, nephew, dear friend Bernie Murphy, neighbours and friends.
