Patrick Ferguson, Milltown Lane, Ashford, Co. Wicklow , formerly of Altidore, Kilpedder, Co. Wicklow.

Late of C Coy 21st Infantry Battalion, retired Company Commander with 41 years service, and late of the Construction Industry Federation.

Peacefully following a long illness bravely borne, surrounded by loving family, in the compassionate care of St Vincent’s University Hospital, on Friday 2nd May 2025.Pre-deceased by his son Patrick, brother John and his parents James and Joan. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Winifred (nee Lord), his daughters Fiona, Siobhan and Miriam, his beloved grandchildren Anna, Isobel and Patrick, his sisters Lena, Maureen and Joan, his brothers PJ, Seamus, and Joseph, son in law Cathal, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Special thanks to all those who came to spend time with Patrick and his family in his final days. Thanks to the staff of the Sugarloaf Nursing Home for their care in the past months.

Patrick will be reposing at McCrea’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Wicklow Town this Friday evening from 5.00pm to 8.00pm.

Funeral Mass Saturday at 2.00pm in Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Ashford followed by interment in Glenealy cemetery.

Bridget Byrne (née Nolan) Milltown North, Rathnew, Co. Wicklow

Bridget passed away on Monday 10th March, 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by her daughters. Predeceased by her loving husband Kit. Very sadly missed by her loving daughters Tina, Delia, Lisa and Laura, sons in law, grandchildren, brother, sisters, brothers in law and sister in law, nieces and nephews, extended family, wide circle of friends and wonderful neighbours.

Forever in our hearts, may she rest in peace.

James (Jimmy) Crean of Ballyvolan Newcastle, Co. Wicklow who passed away on Thursday 20th February 2025 peacefully at St James’ Hospital. Son of the late Jack and Martha Crean and brother of the late Jackie, Sheila and Maura and much loved brother of Theresa, Eileen, Bridget, Maggie, Patsy, Willie, Eddie, Kevin and Sean. He will be sadly missed by his sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Peter Porter Ballinalea Ashford, Formerly Avondale, Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow.

Peter passed away peacefully after a short illness on Monday, 3rd February 2025 in his 79th year, in the compassionate care of the staff at St. Vincent’s Hospital surrounded by his heartbroken wife Margaret and loving family. Deeply missed by his loving wife Margaret, his beloved sons Peter, Darren, Michael and daughter Edel, son-in-law and daughters-in-law. Will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, extended family and friends.

Nora (Hannah) Taylor née McLaughlin (Jackie) of Ashford, Co. Wicklow and formerly Ross Head, Glengad, Malin Co. Donegal, who passed away on Saturday 4th January, 2025, peacefully with family by her side, at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Dearly loved wife of Kieran and much loved mother of James, Michael, Hannah, Cian and Jack. Sadly missed by her siblings Hugh, Eilish, Jim, Joseph, Pat, Mickey, Eamon and Alan, and by her adoring grandchildren, daughters in law, extended family and friends.

Funeral arriving at Ashford GAA grounds on Saturday morning at 11.40am and then proceeding at walking pace to the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Ashford arriving for 12 noon Funeral Mass followed by Private Cremation.

The Funeral Mass will be recorded and a link posted at 6pm on Saturday.

Dunne Pam (née McKay) (Glenealy, Co Wicklow) December 18th, 2024, in her 90th year, in the loving care of the nurses and staff at St. Colman’s Nursing Home, Rathdrum. Sadly missed by her loving children Jimmy, Leah and Sal, daughter-in-law Adrienne, son-in-law Gerry, grandchildren Katie, Aislinn, Shea, Emer, Andrew and Leah, great-grandchildren Josh, Conor, Isobel, Layla, Elsie, Adam, Jacob, Isacc and baby Holly, sisters-in-law Fionnuala, Margaret and Moira, her loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
