Leo Byrne of Urban Villas, The Murrough, Wicklow Town who passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on Saturday 4 March 2023 at St Vincent’s University Hospital. Loving husband of the late Anne and much loved father of Peter, Mary, Niamh, Stephen and Joanne. He will be sadly missed by his family, his good friend Ann, siblings Michael and Vincent and their families and by his 17 grandchildren, sons in law, daughters in law and by Siobhan, Caroline and Debbie as well as all his nieces and nephews and his extended family, neighbours and friends.

Leo will repose at Flannery’s Funeral Home, Bachelors Walk in Wicklow Town from 6pm until 7pm on Wednesday. Funeral arriving to St Patrick’s Church on Thursday morning for 10am funeral Mass followed by interment in Rathnew Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the Humby family who showed him such friendship and kindness, they also express thanks and gratitude to Blainroe Lodge Nursing Home for the excellent and compassionate care Leo received for the past two and a half years and to St Vincent’s University Hospital who looked after him in his final days.
